The Stranglers are back.
First formed in 1975 The Stranglers debut single
Grip taken from their legendary first album
Rattus Norvegicus was greeted with great success
by the punk movement of '77.
Their previous album Norfolk Coast was hailed
as their best for 20 years, with hit singles Big Thing
Coming and Long Black Veil
which gave the band the rare accolade of top 40 hits
over 4 decades.
The current momentum is predicted to follow as they prepare
to release their even better 16th studio album Suite
XVI on 18th Sept 06.
With the release of a new DVD and short film the band are appearing
at festival dates throughout the summer and the tour of the
new album starts in September.
