Amsterdam

Amsterdam hail from Merseyside. Their profile rocketed when Elvis Costello asked the band if they would play with him live on BBC TV's Jonathon Ross Show to promote his new single. The boys also made the John Peel Top Fifty with the late legend weeping live on air when he played the amsterdam anthem Does This Train Stop On Merseyside. In 2005 the band had 3 singles that charted in the UK thanks to tremendous support from Radio 2.

Amsterdam kicked off 2006 as special guests to The Wonderstuff on their UK Tour in March.
